My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it sounds so good. I was first exposed to jazz as a child in the single digit years. I met too many to mention. The best show I ever attended was Dizzy Gillespie at the Egg in Albany, NY. The first jazz record I bought was too far back to remember. My advice to new listeners start with "Kind of blue". listen to traditional players before venturing into bebop and Fusion. Don't try to understand bebop at first. Just listen.
