About Me
My Jazz Story
Jazz represents to me a music that creates a physical, spiritual, intellectual, and emotional connection with no time limit. I was first exposed to jazz and blues when I was 15 years old, with Luther Allison. I was lucky at this time to met Luther personally that gave me a lot of hope, then I met Claude Bouling, Nico Wain Toussaint, Boddy Thomas Jr, Mike Stern who left some serious impact on my faith in jazz. The best show I ever attended was a concert of Wynton Marsalis Live in Marciac France in 2003. One of the first jazz records I bought was Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. My advice to new listeners is keep listening the old jazz and move one to the history. I love the old swing jazz and Gypsy Jazz, then any fusion that keep the swing and the feeling.
