Vincent Gross

I was first exposed to jazz at six years old playing my father's tenor saxophone at our family church in Baltimore, Maryland. After watching Louis Armstrong performing on television, I switched to playing the trumpet when I was ten years old. Throughout high school I perfomed in prominent Baltimore area jazz clubs alongside legendary jazz and blues musicians where I gained valuable experience entertaining audiences. After receiving a Jazz Studies certificate from the John Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory and a bachelors degree, I performed professionally and toured internationally with many reknowned musicians. My discography includes contributions on Grammy Award-winning and nominated jazz projects.
