About Me

We have been bringing live jazz concerts by a variety of outstanding jazz bands on Florida’s Space Coast since 1986, when jazz broadcaster Jack Simpson (Jazz on the Beach radio show) and big band vocalist Alan Simms founded the SCJS with the mission to “keep jazz alive and well on the Space Coast”. Thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of our jazz - loving members and volunteer Board of Directors, we continue to be an important voice in the artistic life of the community.

The Space Coast Jazz Society also helps build a legacy of jazz by awarding scholarships to graduating Brevard County high school seniors
