My Jazz Story
I love jazz because why not?
I was first exposed to jazz when I heard a record that my parents owned called...I can't remember...it was style
I met Billy Cobham - got autograph
The best show I ever attended was...Billy Cobham
The first jazz record I bought was...maybe Spyro Gyra
My advice to new listeners...abandon all earthly and all the things of earthly life in favor of the sound of the True Life where you are not bound to or by rhythm
My House Concert Story
Billy Cobham twice...Catalina Bar and Grill 2001? and The Belly Up Tavern Solana Beach 1993? Also various musical happenings in Leimert Park over the years.
