I love jazz because it makes me happy.
I was first exposed to jazz listening to public radio as a kid
I sat next to Dizzy Gillespie at The Grammy Legends Awards dinner.
The best show I ever attended was Joao Gilberto
The first jazz record I bought was Billie Holiday The Golden Years Volume I-III Columbia
My advice to new listeners is to stay chill.
Or whatever else you have in mind.
