Ruby Rudman, original from Chicago first became interested in music at a very early age. At 13 she performed at her first “gig” in a local tavern (with mom and dad as chaperons) singing the standard “Don't Blame Me.” After moving to California she began her professional career first as a solo act accompanying herself on guitar eventually joining a Top 40 rock n roll band as keyboard player and lead vocalist traveling all over the west coast.

Ruby traveled all over the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and Europe with various groups and as a solo act. She has been featured as opening act for Lee Ritenour, Bo Diddley, Stephen Stills.

In more recent years Ruby has been focusing her talents as a jazz vocalist. She is the featured vocalist with The Robin Anderson Big Band, the Monterey Peninsula Jazz Orchestra and other smaller jazz groups having performed all over the bay area including the Monterey Jazz Festival, Monterey Bay Blues festival, the Kuumbwa Jazz Center, The Santa Cruz Cocoanut Grove, Spanish Bay at Pebble Beach, etc.
