Mr. Strassman has been a professional musician, bodyworker and writer for over a quarter century.
About Me
I have performed and recorded with numerous musicians and written a multitude of published performance reviews in many musical genres, but mostly in Jazz and Latin. I have an academic background in mathematics, physics, statistics and psychology. I am world-traveled and have written a handful of reviews for Jazzsteps.com and AllAboutJazz.com in addition to other non-music related pieces. I wrote Jazz, Latin, Classical, and restaurant reviews from 2009-20 for the Bay Area monthly magazine, Common Ground —which shut down in 2020 due to the pandemic. I currently live in Point Richmond, California.
