About Me
My ArticlesMy Jazz Story
Born in 1956 in Albion, Michigan, during the time of Elvis and Sputnik, I spent a summer in the 1960s (I forget exactly what year) with Dave Brubeck and his family, that summer I heard electronic music for the first time, and saw home-made posters for a band called the Rolling Stones but I did to attend and missed out. I lived in Olympia, Washington between 1977 and 1985 where I learned to speak jazz with Jeffrey Morgan, Barbara Donald and Bert "Wheels" Wilson. I started with Op magazine in the summer of 1981 and edited The Cassette Mythos. I dropped out for a short career as a librarian. Now the whole world is up for grabs...
My House Concert Story
