RICK KELLER: A MUSICAL JOURNEY Rick Keller is a highly respected saxophonist, composer, producer, and educator with a career spanning over four decades. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Keller is widely known for his expertise on woodwinds and his distinctive voice as a composer and producer. His work combines the rich tradition of jazz with elements of world music, fusion, and cinematic soundscapes, creating a diverse catalog that showcases his versatility and unique musical identity. A GLOBAL CAREER A graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance, Keller's career took him across the globe, spending 18 years living and performing in Europe before settling in Los Angeles in 2001 and later Las Vegas in 2016. His performances, recordings, and collaborations with global icons have established him as one of the most sought- after studio musicians and live performers in the industry. RENOWNED COLLABORATIONS Keller has performed and/or recorded with an impressive list of artists, including Frankie Valli, Lady Gaga, Christopher Cross, Barry Manilow, Bill Bruford, Billy Cobham, Joe Sample, Natalie Cole, Jon Secada, and Zakir Hussain, among many others. His versatility across genres—jazz, pop, Latin, fusion, and film—has made him a key contributor to projects in both the studio and live performance settings. NOTABLE WORKS & EDUCATION As a composer, Keller's works have spanned numerous releases, with standout albums like One Take, The Instigator, Dolphin Dance, For Pat, and Heroes (2025), a tribute to jazz legends who have inspired his music. Keller's academic background and teaching experience at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he serves as an adjunct professor, reflect his commitment to sharing his knowledge with the next generation of musicians.
