Earnest eclectic jazz hound who also digs soul, funk, classical, solo piano, big band, Hammond B3 and so much more!

My mission – indeed my passion – is to capture vivid wine imagery throughout the Pacific Northwest and the wine world. Vineyards; winemakers; harvest and crush; wine and food; events – my aim is put my imagery to work on behalf of the wine community.

You’ll also find my work in Great Northwest Wine Media, Northwest Wine Report, as well as being steady contributor to Wine Business Monthly, Good Fruit Grower, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and numerous blogs and wine sites. Chateau Ste. Michelle selected my image of its iconic chateau for the cover of its commemorative 50th anniversary book. Signature Wines and Wineries of Washington chose my image of Sagemoor Vineyard for its cover. And the promotional materials produced by Washington’s state and regional wine wine marketing organizations -- Walla Walla, Woodinville, Yakima Valley, Lake Chelan, Red Mountain – all feature my work.

Other marketing outlets for my work include WinePix, a line of personal greeting cards, and Art from the Vine, my exhibit of wine fine art on display at The Drayman House in Walla Walla, Washington. I also offer custom prints, created to your specifications.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it hits me on an emotional and intellectual level. Improvisation intrigues and challenges me. My first exposure to jazz: when I heard Lew Solof's trumpet solo on God Bless the Child from BST first album. This was followed by Deodato's first album on CTI which led me to the CTI stable and i was hooked from there. I met many musicians. The best show I ever attended was Pat Metheny's First Circle Tour. The first jazz record I bought was Deodato's Prelude. The CTI catalog flew into my hands from there! My advice to new listeners is to open your mind to the endless possibilities inherent in music. Jazz is an avenue to the endless.
