About Me

Bassist Rich Lamb, originally from upstate New York, has been playing professionally for 50 years. He gained worldwide notoriety with the 80’s fusion band Dry Jack (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_Jack) , being recognized in Rolling Stone Magazine’s “History of Rock and Roll”. He has performed in a supporting role with many jazz greats including Eddie Jefferson, Richie Cole, Ernie Watts and Hank Crawford and with folk/pop artists Pete Huttlinger, David Wilcox and Greg Brown. Rich has lived in the Denver, Colorado area for 34 years and has been a member of Denver’s hottest groove ensemble, the Hazel Miller Band for about 27 years. He has produced a CD of his original music “Music Along The Way” (featuring the late cornetist Ron Miles) and a companion book of poetry “Words Along The Way”. His well-received CD reached #14 on the national Roots Music Journal for popular airplay.
