Paul Albrecht aka Paulbright is currently one of Germany's most sought-after and versatile drummers and lately got recognised internationally. His unique energy, playing style, and stage presence leave the audience in disbelief. He is recognized in both the jazz scene and the hip-hop and pop worlds. He won Germany's largest jazz newcomer award, “Future Sounds 2021,” with his band “Paulbright Experience,” just a few weeks after its formation.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because playing it with like minded artists puts me in a trance like state that nothing except doing it can describe. I was first exposed to jazz when I heard it playing in my parents house. The first jazz record I bought was Chick Corea-Three Quartetts.

My House Concert Story

I both attended and hosted a few jazz house concerts. The energy is always very special. It creates an intimate setting that simultaneously allows high energy to be perceived.I'm a fan of house concerts, they are pure.
