About Me

I have been playing in bands and groups since the sixties: Performing all over the country and playing in backing groups for artists such as Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent, Tom Jones, Bert Weedon, Joe Brown, Vince Hill, Matt Monroe, Ronnie Scott, Van Morrison etc. I also run my own music business in the form of Portass and Carter music shop in Sutton Bridge, who are now the longest established music shop in the area. Selling all types of musical instruments and giving personal tuition on most instruments from beginners to advanced students.
