He has fronted his own jazz group for over five years, playing venues in New York City (including CBGB, The Bitter End and Birdland), the Honolulu Club in Hawaii, Miami, and Atlantic City. He has played multiple times with The Derek Trucks Band, and he has played live with The Four Tops (whose hits include “Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch” and “Baby, I Need Your Loving”). He spent several months touring as the saxophonist for a preeminent Springsteen cover band. Nick has also played the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey, and was featured as the front man for the 2008 NJPAC Jazz Alumni Concert. His jazz group, Jazz Patrol, just played The NJPAC in 2010, when it opened for Johnny Mathis.
