My Jazz Story
I especially love the multi dimensional
limitless depth that wonderful Jazz can
open the door into.
Great Jazz has the gift of transcending my
mind so I am listening with my heart & not
my head. A portal into presence.
Thats pretty special.
A wonderful example of this is the amazing
Jeff Parker album 'The Way Out of
Easy'...wow. does it to me every time. So
much space yet not a note is wasted. These
guys are in the No Mind Zone. These guys
are not only brilliant musos but obviously
telepathically connected during this
recording.
I can only humbly say thankyou.

AAJ is my go to website. Love the new album reviews especially. They have hooked me into modern Jazz. For years my favourite albums were from the 60's & 70's. I love the hardbop era from around the classic 59 era through the magic of the 60s & into the jazz funk of the 70s. This all skidded to a halt in the 80s. AAJ has time travelled me into the present where im learning a whole heap about some of the amazing artists & albums being released right now. Many many thankyous.SUGGESTION
Would like to be able to click off the bot icon. It is distracting & gets in the way. Its a handy feature of course but would be nice to choose when to see it or when to hide it. Would be nice not to put my location as a capital city. Brisbane is the closest to where I live in Coffs Harbour but its 500km away & in QLD.This page was last updated on 2026-09-13.
