It Don’t Mean a Thing If it Ain’t Got that Swing! Have any truer words been spoken?

Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson. These are but a few of the big bands I adore.

Don't get me wrong, small groups (trios, quartets, etc.) have a special place in my heart but the “big sound” is what makes me melt.

My Jazz Story

My experience has been one of great pleasure when it comes to meeting outstanding musicians. I always try to meet the musicians I enjoy when catching their performance live. The great ones seem to always have time to interact and indulge their admirers. Those that seem to not have time are not worth wasting your time and money on seeing and perform live.
