About Me
Photography has always been a fascinating subject to me but I didn't develop my technique or become comfortable with my equipment for several years. I'm self-taught; the best training I had was learning by doing. A few years ago I became close with a band of young jazz musicians and followed them regularly to gigs. I improved my skills over time and I'm very grateful to them. Shortly after, the club Pannonica asked for photographs, then the festival “Les Rendez-Vous de l'Erdre,” and so on.
My Jazz Story
I discovered jazz when a teenager and really get into it at the university. I listened to any kind of jazz, read a lot of books about history of jazz, my discotheque is about 5000 records and I think I can say I know something about jazz ! I'm going to about 150 concerts a year and started to photograph 4 years ago. I mainly listen to free jazz, avant garde and contemporary jazz now.
