My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz by listening to a CD called "The Best of Atlantic: Ray Charles." It
belonged to my parents and I really loved the way it sounded. It was a collection of songs with
Ray charles playing and not singing. It swings sooo hard! The guitarist on one of the tracks
("Sweet 16 Bars") is Skeeter Best. I listened to that solo so many times! So understated and
beautiful. From then on I was hooked!
