Mariea Antoniette, Just as the harp is unique and beautiful Mariea Antoniette evidences qualities rarely witnessed in the world today. Through years of hard work and dedication and faith Mariea has poised herself in a class unto her own.World Class classical, jazz, and R&B harpist who has been hailed as the harpist to the stars. Her performances live are impressive,powerful,and magical, her amazing list of venues on stage with world class artists, such as Karen Briggs, Reggie Codrington, Gail Johnson, Althea Rene and the saxtress Pamel Williams. Currently on tour with an all star jazz female ensemble called “JazznPink” and the “Four Divas of Jazz” Check out her releases, “Sexy Paradise” and “Expansions”. She is principle harpist with the Southeast Sympnhony in Los Angeles.She has performed with Azar Lawrence jazz Quartet featuring a tribute to John and Alice Coltrane.She has performed stage at the 2006/07 BET awards with R&B artist Ne-Yo. Featured artist at Pre-grammy awards luncheons and partes for Mary J Blige and Kanye West. Private reception for Vanity Fair Magazine and Jamie Foxx. Colin Powell, NBA, Ivana Trump.A national tour with Mercedes Benz introducing “ Maybach”. A private reception for President elect Barack Obama. She attended U.C.S.D.in La Jolla, majoring in music and went on to the University of Arizona, Tucson majoring in harp performance. Her musical inflenueces of teachers have been Dr, Carol McLaughlin, Paul Hurst and the Russian harpist Eleana Masheovca. She continues to perform through out So Cal.
