My Jazz Story
I love jazz because... it is the most creative and intuitive form of
art.
I was first exposed to jazz... when I was 12 and listened to a CD,
full of diverse big band compositions.
I met Phil Wilson ... one of the few white men who's mentally
completely black. A timeless role model and source of inspiration for
every musician, equal of origin and tradition.
The best show I ever attended was... the Danny Grisette Trio, at
Tunnel Vienna, August 2012.
My advice to new listeners... Ella Fitzgerald & Duke Ellington, live
at Cote d'Azur!!!
