My Jazz Story

I love jazz because It sets an ambiance of calm and creates the space to relax, and enjoy and listen to the artistry of the musicians and what they are playing... I was first exposed to jazz...I have always love music that uses improvisation and distortion of pitch and timbre. Jazz fits into that classification I met [musician name]...Shabaka Hutchins at the MOSTLY Jazz sou and funk festival in 2014 l met Nubaya Garcia after her gig 2018 @ Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath Birmingham UK The best show I ever attended was...Ezra Collective gig @ Hare & Hounds 2018 superb!!! The first jazz record I bought was...A kind of Blue My advice to new listeners...Start with A Kind of Blue as an entry level, if you like what you hear and want to explore more be aware that within the genre there are sub- genre. You will find the one that rocks your world. Enjoy the journey. Or whatever else you have in mind. I am really enjoying what is happening in the Uk jazz scene. All the artists/Bands are great. Why, because it is diverse and collaborative.
