I was born in Odessa, TX and followed the music scene like the rest of my generation growing up, watching MTV and listening to mainstream radio. A recent graduate from the University of California Los Angeles, I've since moved my ear to pastures more compatible with my present disposition and lifestyle. I consider my musical taste to be somewhat eclectic. I'm an avid listener of bebop jazz, classic rock, indie rock, and underground hip hop. A few names I hold close to my heart are Bill Evans, Miles Davis, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, DJ Shadow, and Sole. I've had musical instruction in piano during my early teenage years and have since marginally taught myself to play the guitar. Creative writing is my chief passion and my recent purchase of a classic Remington Rand typewriter has only exacerbated my unrelenting need to inspire the world. Life is my muse and music is the voice through which it speaks.
