My Jazz Story
I love jazz because the instruments really talk to each other and to us in the
audience. I love the phrases and the
improvs. I love the way it helps me escape into another sphere. It allows the
artists to have so much freedom in
their expression so no live performance seems the same.
The best show I ever attended was a benefit concert for Dallas Jazz Piano
Society where master pianists played in
duo and conversed with each other accompanied by bass and drums that
added to the conversation.
