cello jazz fusion
Born in 1974 in Cuba, Juan Verdera started the cello at the age of 7. After his large experience in classical music, his creativity pushed him to search new sounds in the world of jazz fusion and progressive rock. From the record of the movie's music “ En Tres y Dos” (Cuba) to the leadership of the progressive rock band Dinastia (Cuba) when still a teenager, he founded Juan Verdera Trio latin jazz (Hamburg) and the ambitious jazz fusion band Zone-T Project (Madrid), among others. Now living in Brussels, he's creating new projects and collaborating with other musicians. --------------------------- Born in Brussels, Juan Verdera Trio fuses the most modern jazz sounds with classical music and cuban contemporary music, where we found polyrhythms, broken harmonies and a lot of liberty of improvisation.
