My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it sends tingles up my spine. It's the story of human living, and humans trying to live with other humans. There's nothing more real!
I was first exposed to jazz finding a Count Basie cassette that belonged to my Dad.
The first jazz record I bought was a live Brother Jack McDuff album, and damn, it swung like hell!
While I'm a historian at heart and play jazz in tribute to the founding greats (Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives & Sevens will NEVER be surpassed); I'm so grateful for ANYONE who
creates something new to a world of art.
