About Me

John March is the owner of JM Media Services LLC, Producer, Sound Mixer, Sound Designer, Social and environmental activist and the new Creative Director and Head of Production for the new division All About Jazz Media.

John March is a blues and jazz guitarist currently residing in northern Spain and Boulder Colorado. John is known in the guitar community for work he has done around performing and tribute recordings of works by Ted Greene, having been a student of Ted's for more than 25 years. He also played and recorded with the Los Angeles project, the "Zen Blues Quartet", featuring renowned drummer Steve Ferrone, the late great Mike Finnigan and Jeff Young and other well known LA musicians. John is also a recording engineer/producer and mixer, having worked in studios like the Record Plant in New York, Westlake Audio and Magnolia studios in Los Angeles. His technical experience goes back to working as a freelance Synclavier programmer in the late '80s and early '90s. He is currently consulting for various artificial intelligence projects, working at the intersection of collaborative model, training for music and audio technology, and working remotely for clients around the world. My Jazz Story

I’m a guitarist playing Jazz and blues, an audio producer, mixer, sound designer, and A/V technologist with decades of experience working across music, film, broadcast, games, and emerging media. I help people turn ideas into finished work that holds together technically, creatively, and emotionally. My company, JM Media Services exists to provide clarity and continuity in complex projects. That might mean producing and mixing a record, designing sound for film or interactive media, streamlining a podcast or post-production workflow, or solving technical problems across teams and time zones. The goal is always the same: make the process smoother and the result stronger. My work spans music production, post-production, sound design, and consulting for film, television, games, VR/AR, live streaming, and digital media. I collaborate with clients internationally from a fiber-connected studio equipped for modern, high-end production and delivery. I believe good work comes from collaboration—people sharing skills, ideas, and responsibility. The projects I care most about are built through long-term relationships, trust, and a shared commitment to doing the work well. Technology matters—but collaboration matters more.
