John March is the owner of JM Media Services LLC, Producer, Sound Mixer, Sound Designer, Social and environmental activist and the new Creative Director and Head of Production for the new division All About Jazz Media.

John March is currently working with All About Jazz as the new Creative Director and Head of Production for the new division “All About Jazz Media”. He will be helping to develop and produce new media based content, advocate for unique opportunities to collaborate and develop support for the International Jazz community. John is a recording engineer/producer and mixer, having worked in studios like the Record Plant in New York, Westlake Audio and Magnolia studios in Los Angeles. His technical experience goes back to working as a freelance Synclavier programmer in the late '80s and early '90s. He is also a blues and jazz guitarist currently residing in Spain and Boulder Colorado. John is known in the guitar community for work he has done around performing and tribute recordings of works by Ted Greene, having been a student of Ted's for more than 25 years. He also played and recorded with the Los Angeles project, the “Zen Blues Quartet”, featuring renowned drummer Steve Ferrone, the late great Mike Finnigan and Jeff Young and other well known LA musicians. He is currently consulting for various artificial intelligence projects, working at the intersection of collaborative AI model training for music and audio technology, and working remotely for clients around the world. My Jazz Story

My primary focus today is developing opportunities, resources, and creative platforms for musicians around the world, with particular emphasis on philanthropic initiatives and projects that support improvisational artists at every stage of their careers. I am currently Director of Project Development and Operational Execution at Red Carpet Studios in Mallorca, Spain, and Creative Director and Head of Production for All About Jazz Media, where I work pro bono. In both roles, much of my work centers on designing and developing systems, projects, partnerships, and opportunities that can provide meaningful support to musicians and the international creative community. I am also a jazz and blues guitarist, producer, mixer, sound designer, and audio/video technologist with decades of experience across music, film, television, broadcast, games, and emerging media. My work has always existed at the intersection of creativity and technology: helping turn ideas into finished work that holds together creatively, technically, and emotionally. Through JM Media Services LLC, I provide production, post-production, sound design, technical consulting, and project development for clients internationally. That work can include producing and mixing records, designing sound for film and interactive media, developing audio and video workflows, solving complex production problems, or helping teams move a project from an initial idea through completion. My broader experience includes music production, audio post-production, sound design, film and television, games, VR/AR, live streaming, podcasting, and digital media. I work internationally from a fiber-connected production studio designed for professional remote collaboration and high-end media delivery. At this stage of my career, I am increasingly interested in using that experience to create opportunities for other people. I believe the strongest creative work comes from collaboration—people sharing their skills, ideas, experience, and responsibility. The projects that matter most to me are built through long-term relationships, trust, and a shared commitment to doing the work well.
