At complete peace while listening to your music.

Your playing is so soothing. We often rotate CDs because of obvious reasons: repetitive, same ole same ole, etc.; but yours is always fresh.
It's amazing.

My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it affords the possibility of freedom within structure. Through improvised elements, a musician can "speak" from a place that words cannot, with few barriers to interrupt that flow. So, in the tradition of pianists like Jarrett and Lyle Mays, I've always needed to create piano albums where at least some of the tracks lend themselves to improvisional expression; but my philosophy concerning improvised elements is that you can still be accessible as you create extemporaneously, while avoiding the rigid and predictable structures that a good deal of solo piano music falls prey to. Who are my influences? Liz Story, George Winston, Keith Jarret, and Lyle Mays [Pat Metheny Group] have shaped my work more than any other solo pianists.
