My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...it sounds great/so expressive/great musicianship/I love to solo: I play electric piano, ukulele, diddley bow CBG, vocals & harmonica. I was first exposed to jazz...when I was taking jazz improv at SJCC ... electric piano solos were my jam. Once, I met BB King & Dave Matthews, at Universal Amp. ..Awards show/ Backstage Pass. I also met Frank Zappa at Pac Vid..a post production facility in Hollywood, CA. The best shows I ever attended were awe inspiring. I love 1930's vintage classics like Clarence Williams. I have covered one of his tunes... Shimmy Like Sister Kate, live on ukulele. The first blues and jazz I ever heard was Muddy Waters, Steely Dan, and Chick Corea. My advice to new listeners... is: relax and feel it! The music will move you! I am a jazzy pop artist.
