He is a artist who just wants to place all of the yearnings & desires given to him by the Lord... on the canvas of humanity.
My name is Jarritt Ahmed Sheel, and I'm an Orlando, FL based jazz educator/performer. I teach at Valencia College and within the greater Orlando public school system. I also perform professionally internationally with the grammy winning artist “Burning Spear” and my small jazz group called “The BLU-TET.” I am a passionate advocate of jazz education, and as the Director of the Valencia Community College's Summer Jazz Camp I work to educate and bring the surrounding community closer to the performing arts programs at Valencia. I am always, profoundly inspired by the local heros in our community we call artist, parents, teachers, and local leaders. You can find my group performing at our monthly live music events called “The Digital Journey” and these local venues: Underground Bluz, Natura Coffee & Tea, The Plaza Theatre, Aqualounge, and Taste.
