Jazz & Contemporary Drummer (Performer & Educator), with over 35 years of international professional experience on stage, screen and television.
About Me
The accolades started when introduced to audiences at an early age. By 1966, Kaye's professional music career began - performing at DuPont weddings and society gig's with Hal Schiff (notable tenor player and leader of American Youth Jazz Band). Kaye's Jazz career continued with performances with Boise Lowery (Clifford Brown's first music teacher) and continued with events like performances at the first DuPont's Clifford Brown Jazz Festival (with sidemen from Woody Herman, Hubert Laws, Philly Jo Jones, Gary Burton, Hubert Laws, Buddy Rich bands), While in the Marines, Jacob and Big Band opened for B. B. King at the Florida Jazz Festival. And a variety of such diverse musical styles as Country music star Lee Greenwood (G-d Bless the USA, single) and as percussionist with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.

Grant recipient (based on audition performance) and study at Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Philadelphia, Pa. studies with Michael Bookspan (Julliard alumnus, Philadelphia Orchestra, University of the Arts and the Curtis Institute of Music)
Master Classes with Saul Goodman (tympanist with N.Y. Philharmonic)
Studies with Jim Chapin (20th Century's most influential drum set educator) honors: American Eagle Award, by the National Music Council in Washington, DC lifetime achievement award from the Berklee College of Music Boston. And in 1995, he was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame.
