I love jazz because...it's the ultimate creative challenge I was first exposed to jazz...by my Dad at Marian McPartland concert Raleigh NC I met [musician name]...and became friends with Russell Ferrante of Yellowjackets The best show I ever attended was...Yellowjackets at Holidasy Star Theater in Merrilville, Indiana The first jazz record I bought was...Yellowjackets Mirage-a-Trois' My advice to new listeners...is have an open mind for all genres of music and art Or whatever else you have in mind. Music is God's true gift to mankind!
