My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...it is the music of the soul.
I was first exposed to jazz...as a child listening to my grandfather's big band records.
I met Al Jarreau...in Milwaukee.
The best show I ever attended was...Patti Austin at the Cubby Bear in Chicago.
The first jazz record I bought was...Manhattan Transfer.
My advice to new listeners...go to a quite room, lay back, close your eyes.
Or whatever else you have in mind.
