Graham Clark

About Me

I have been playing jazz on violin professionally since 1982. There is a long list of people I have worked with, including five years with jazz/psychedelic band GONG. Also working in TOOLSHED, with Graham Massey (808State) My last CD release was ISTHMUS on the GAS label (1997), a freely- improvised but highly melodic and rhythmic work by violin double bass (Jon Thorne) and drums (Milo Fell. I have recently started working solo, giving individual violin improvisation performances with no electronics, and also have formed an improvising string quartet, soon to be making its debut in Manchester. At the moment I am writing new material to record and perform with my current jazz quartet: Graham Clark Quartet.
