About Me

He began developing a passion for music at a very young age, playing with the guitars he had at home. His studies are mainly self-taught, and his early sources of inspiration were Wes Montgomery (from whom he inherited the exclusive use of the thumb instead of a pick) and Bill Evans. In 2010, he won a scholarship to the Arcevia seminars. In 2014, he took second place in the “Bottega Jazz Contest” competition and won a prize of 10 hours of recording time. In 2016, he enrolled in the three-year jazz guitar program at the Pergolesi Conservatory in Fermo. In 2017, during his time in Argentina, he met several local musicians who organized a series of concerts for him. In 2019, he stood out in courses organized in Perugia by the prestigious American Berklee College of Music for “Umbria Jazz,” which led him to perform on the main stage of the festival for the student concert. He won a Berklee scholarship and was selected as the best guitarist of the courses. He performed at ”Umbria Jazz Winter 2019” (the winter version of Umbria Jazz in Orvieto) with the best students from other instruments. In 2021, he won the “All You Have to Do is Play” competition, organized by the Emme Record Label, which allowed him to record his second album, “The Five Elements.” In the same year, he graduated in Jazz Guitar from the “G.B. Pergolesi” Conservatory in Fermo. He continued his studies under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Diodati, earning a master's degree in jazz guitar at the Conservatory of L'Aquila in June 2024. On October 17, 2024, he released his new single “Spiritual,” which was a preview of the full album titled “GASH,” released on November 29, featuring his quartet and world-renowned saxophonist Michael Rosen. His commitment to musical excellence continues to define his path as an emerging artist in the jazz scene. He has collaborated with prominent musicians in the national and international jazz scene, such as Massimo Manzi, Federica Michisanti, Mike Rossi, Michael Rosen, and Orbert Davis. He has attended masterclasses with: Fabio Zeppetella, Fabrizio Bosso, Umberto Fiorentino, Jim Kelly, Riccardo Fassi, Nicola Cordisco, Nico Stufano, Juampy Juarez.
