The best show(s) I ever attended were...Miles at Kixx in '81, Also Earl Fatha Hines, Alan Dawson with Illinois Jaquet, Dizzy with Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen all at Lu Lu Whites (I was a dishwasher there). The Trio (Melvin Gibbs, Vernon Reid & Will Calhoun), DeFunkt and Gil Scott Heron all at Nightstage late '80's.
