About Me
Born in a musical household: Father, “Ohaldo Williams and the Latin Jazz Calypso Orchestra” New York 50's & 60's. As a bassist Fred toured throughout Europe with artist such as Ornette Coleman, James Blood Ulmer, Frank Lowe, and Lester Bowie. Perfomed with David Murray, Oliver Lake, Arther Blyth, Don Pullen, Leon Thomas & Pharoh Sanders,Dewey Redman, Frank Foster, Don Pullen, Jimmy Hamilton,Danny Mixson, Oliver Lake, and many more.....Bassist and musical director of the Virgin Islands Art Ensemble
