About Me

I have a Master's degree and work in the field of International Cooperation and Development. I work for the University of Bologna in managing international projects focused on issues related to cultural heritage and community building in the Balkan and Middle East Countries. Love immensely literature, cinema, poetry and of course Jazz music.

My Jazz Story

Jazz music is my religion. I remember like it was yesterday the first time I felt the bright faith of Jazz. I was sixteen and I listened to "A Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis and nothing was the same after that: it changed my life like it changed everyone else's. Since then, I have realized that Jazz is not just about music, it is the strongest and most joyful way we have to understand the world around us.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
