My Jazz Story
i hate to be cliche but the first jazz
record I bought was "kind of blue".
perhaps you've heard of it. this was
in the early '70s. I still have it plus 4
other copies/versions.
I also went to 2 miles davis concerts
at the auditorium theater in chicago
in the early '70s. unfortunately miles
only came to one but it was killer. I
wasn't jazz-sophisticated enough at
that time to have an interest in our
knowledge of the other players but
the concert was fusion crazy. I didn't
understand it at the time.
