My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz when our music teacher played "The Inner Mounting Flame" to the class - a classmate had brought it in. The teacher thought they were a classical outfit …!!! The best show I ever attended was Soft Machine in November 2019. John Marshall still going strong at 78 - drum solo and all. John Etheridge amazing for 71, not forgetting Roy Babbington on bass (79).
