Melodies make word-scapes for me.
I am a journalist, educator and co- founder of Mixmusikmedia. In addition, I am a Web producer for jazz musicians and visual artists. My work entails writing, editing, designing, planning and overseeing web sites, and other online content (press releases, reviews critiques, etc.). As a music and arts afficionado, well-versed in jazz, I conduct interviews, and am able to objectively, yet creatively document the genre. I write print and web-based documents for publication and exhibition.

My Jazz Story
The first jazz record I bought with my
own money was "A Love Supreme" by
John Coltrane. I listened for hours in the
solitude of my own thoughts--sound into
thought! A later gift from my best friend
(and fellow young jazz enthusiast) was
Ornette Coleman's ground-breaking "The
Shape of Jazz to Come." True to its
moniker, this album would serve to
shape my musical palate, and make me
fall "head over heels" in love with the
genre.
