I was first exposed to jazz...Father's Miles and Cannonball & Nancy Wilson Vinyl Records I met [musician name]...Many musicians growing up and that's why I am a musician today. The best show I ever attended was...VSOP Hollywood Bowl back in the 80's with Freddy Hubbard on trumpet The first jazz record I bought was...Morning Star Hubert Laws My advice to new listeners...Start with Kinda Blue then go back in history then forward from there. Or whatever else you have in mind. Jazz is a movement, relying on it's origins and evolving into the future......
