Lifelong jazz lover, Blue Note records connoiseur, sweet person and armchair martial artist is what describes me.
I have been in love with jazz ever since I was born, literally. My passion for this music knows no bounds and it has affected those around who love and encourage me, and I continue to grow because of that. I listen to pretty much everything from bop to hard bop, mainstream, fusion, and some free. Blue Note albums have been an important part of my life since day one. I also have a weakness for Japanese pop. I was teaching assistant for Binghamton University's Jazz In American Music course during my tenure as an undergrad in sociology, and currently am in house writer for the New York Jazz Workshop School of Music. My other interests include playing video games, learning about Japanese culture, watching mixed martial arts, anime and boxing, martial arts movies, dining, going out with friends and having fun. Oh yes, Kenny G. sucks, as does most of the smooth jazz genre.
