About Me

Bill is keyboardist, composer with his own jazz-rock, blues, Latino, World Music project, the Bill DiCosimo Quartet and plays keyboards in the Latin rock band Grupo Pagan. Bill is a published composer (ASCAP) with Oregon Catholic Press (OCP) and UNC Jazz Press. His quartet has performed at the Syracuse Jazz Festival, Detroit International Jazz Festival and was invited to perform at the EA JazzU Festival in Mosina, Poland. Bill is a jazz educator and clinician, chair of the B.M. Music Industry program at Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music as well as director/pianist for the university's vocal jazz ensemble: Windjammer. Bill is an ASCAPlus Award recipient and 5 time Syracuse Area Music Award winner (SAMMY).
