My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz...my Mom loved
swing music and sang to me and my sisters
when we we children.
The best jazz show I ever attended was...Dave
Weckl playing with Mike Stern at Yoshi’s in
Oakland, CA.
The first jazz record I bought was... Between
Nothingness & Eternity, the first live album by
jazz fusion band Mahavishnu Orchestra,
released on November 1973
Or whatever else you have in mind.
