About Me
Ali's main instrument is Daf (Persian frame drum), but his insatiable love for percussion extends to many other instruments from across the world. He has over ten years experience playing with some of Iran's best musicians, such as Sima Bina, Davod Azad and Hassan Nahid, as well as the BBC Symphony Orchestra. He currently plays in NoName Trio and Magham Ensemble. Ali plays Daf, Cajon, Tonbak, Damam & Udu
