About Me

Alfredo Dias Gomes was born in 1960 in Rio de Janeiro. He made his professional debut in instrumental music at the age of 18, playing in Hermeto Pascoal's band. He also played and recorded with Ivan Lins, Ricardo Silveira, Márcio Montarroyos, Arthur Maia, Nico Assumpção and many others, in addition to participating in the first formation of the group “Heróis da Resistência”.
