About Me
I grew up during the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and Neo Soul, when my folks introduced to me some great Funky Jazz, as well as the Hard Bop albums that got my old man through the war. After a few Bop Jazz drum lessons, I have developed a unique funky Hard Bop swing, and funky syncopated drum shuffles and cadences, that acclaimed bandleaders always seem to dig. Often in the studio with solid rhythm sections, great brass, and reeds, creating live instrumentation, for hard swinging bandleaders, soulful vocalists, and spoken-word poets.
