Completing Your Standard All About Jazz Musician Page
A complete and current musician page gives listeners and jazz professionals a better picture of who you are, what you've recorded and what you're doing now. It's also the foundation for upgrading to a Premium Musician Page.
Complete Your Standard Page
Go to your musician page and click the blue Update Page button, then review each section below.
General Information, Tags and Influences
Make sure your thumbnail image is current and sized to 200x200 pixels. Complete your general and regional information, then add relevant tags and influences. These connections help place you throughout All About Jazz and make your music easier to discover across the platform.
About
Add your date of birth—you may leave the year blank if you prefer—to be included on our Born Today page. Make sure your biography is current, written in paragraph form and free of grammatical errors. Add relevant press quotes and awards.
Contacts
Select your publicity firm if you're represented by one and make sure your professional contact information is current.
Links
Add all relevant links, including your website, social channels, YouTube, LinkedIn and other destinations.
Videos
Add up to six YouTube or Vimeo videos.
Discography
Review your discography and make sure your releases are accounted for, especially your most recent album.
Photos
Upload high-quality photos and tag them so they appear in your slideshow. If you plan to upgrade to Premium, include a high-resolution horizontal image that can be used as your cover photo.
Teaching
If you teach, add your teaching information and regional location so you can appear in our Teacher Finder.
Events
Add your upcoming performances to Jazz Near You so they're connected to your musician page and discoverable through our event calendars.
Ready for More?
Once your standard musician page is complete, you can upgrade to Premium for a striking, ad-free professional presentation, expanded music, video and linking options, event imports, follower communication, statistics and additional visibility across the platform.
Important - PLEASE READ
You must complete your standard information (including information under each tab as well as your regional location, influencers, and tags) before we upgrade your page to premium. All About Jazz will add your cover photo and primary press quote before turning it over to you to complete the rest of the page. You are free to change your cover image and quote.
