About Me

Award winning jazz pianist/composer/educator Claire Ritter, is a 5 time recipient of the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte artist grant as well as a North Carolina Arts Council Jazz Composer Fellow. A New England Conservatory of Music in Boston alumna, Ritter is the leader of 12 CD recordings, and the founder of Zoning Recordings, in honor of Mary Lou Williams. Claire Ritter has performed and recorded with many jazz notables, including Steve Swallow, Dave Holland, Ran Blake, Ricky Ford, Dominique Eade, among others.
